High School Outreach in Decorah

Sports Medicine in Decorah, Iowa, provides athletic outreach services to area high school and college athletes. We are available to evaluate injuries sustained by athletes during school-sponsored athletic programs. This includes care of acute injuries, management of chronic injuries, rehabilitation follow-up and consultation for injury prevention. 

Services include:

• Weekly consultations with student-athletes at their assigned schools when school is in session.
• Coverage at select home games. Contact sports take priority when there are schedule conflicts. The school’s athletic director assists with prioritization of event coverage when needed.
• Communication between the athlete’s coach, athletic trainer, physical therapist or physician will occur as appropriate to ensure continuity of care.
