We offer many accessibility services for patients needing assistance. These services are easily accessible and free of charge. We can help you arrange accessibility services. Family and friends also are welcome to assist you with special needs during your visit.
Wheelchairs are available free of charge for use on campus and are located at the main entrance. Social Services can assist you with obtaining wheelchairs and walkers needed for off-campus use.
We are available to transport you to and from appointments, provide directions and answer questions during your visit.
If you have a handicap-accessible parking tag displayed on your vehicle, you may park in any designated parking stall. Van-accessible and state handicap parking spaces are located near front entrances on the campus.
Service for Hearing Impaired
Qualified sign language interpreters are available free of charge to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. The MARTI video translator system is available for use, as well. Please inform Registration or a scheduler that you need an interpreter. In addition, volume-controlled telephones, pocket talkers and telecommunications devices for the deaf (TDD) are available. Staff at information desks or nurses can direct you to these devices.
All buildings have wheelchair-accessible restrooms with signs noting accessibility. If you have difficulty locating a wheelchair-accessible restroom, please ask for assistance.
