Safa Shiari, M.D.

I am a general internal medicine physician with an interest in prevention, early diagnosis and management of chronic medical conditions. I like to stay up to date with medical literature and apply it to achieve accurate diagnoses and root causes behind symptoms.

I enjoy practicing internal medicine and continuing to study the human body and its ability to adapt, change and respond to internal and external stimuli. It is a privilege to care for people who trust me with their health. I get to use the knowledge I accumulated over years to help them lead a healthier life and get over, or eliminate, what could be causing the pain or suffering.

During your visit, we will address your acute concerns, learn about your past medical history and experience and put forward a plan to achieve your goals. I am a firm believer that our daily practices contribute to our health and well-being, and we will discuss what steps we can take to change things for the better, if necessary. Patients are unique beings and have different circumstances and respond differently. We will work together on adjusting our goals and management plan according to your individual needs.

During my spare time, I enjoy taking care of my house plants and spending quality time with my family, friends, cats and oh, watching videos about dogs!
