You may be seen by a resident physician at our Eastridge location. Residents are physicians who are completing a three-year specialized training program in Family Medicine. Faculty and staff provide leadership for the program, help coordinate on-call schedules and ensure the residents meet the necessary training and competency requirements. A licensed faculty physician supervise residents during their training, and a partnering physician — called a preceptor — oversees the resident's care of patients.
