La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency
The La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency is one of the most recognized training programs for family physicians in the Upper Midwest. The program has been the source of many family physicians who now practice in many communities in our area.
Franciscan Healthcare School of Anesthesia
The School of Anesthesia is a joint program of Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare and the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and is the only one if its kind in the state of Wisconsin. A 27-month program leading to a Master of Science degree and certification as Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
PGY1 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

Professional Education Events
Cardiology Conference for Healthcare Professionals
This program is specifically planned to meet the needs of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and all healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients with cardiovascular disease in the primary care setting. It will be held Friday and Saturday, October 21-22, 2016 at the Kalahari Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
La Crosse Child Maltreatment Conference 2017
This nationally recognized conference addresses strategies the multidisciplinary team can use to intervene when child maltreatment is reported, collaborate with community and family to protect children, and ensure justice for child victims of abuse/neglect. The 2017 conference will focus on current issues in child maltreatment including human trafficking and trauma and children's behaviors with an impressive speaker line-up.
