Heart failure is a chronic disease that requires lifelong management. Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare has created a support program called “Healthy Living with a Heart Condition” for patients living with heart failure and their families and caregivers.
“Our goal is to make our patients lives more comfortable,” said Jenny Prinsen, ANP-C, one of the cardiology nurse practitioners leading the program. “This program will give our patients helpful information, support and an opportunity to share their experiences with others experiencing the same challenges.”
The program is free and open to the public. All meetings will be held from 3-4pm in Marycrest Auditorium on the second floor of the hospital, 700 West Avenue South, La Crosse. Refreshments will be provided starting at 2:30pm.
