FAIRMONT, Minn. —Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont recently announced recipients of its 2017 Blanche Kindstrom Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships, given each year to local students who are pursuing a health profession field of study.
This year’s scholarship recipients include:
- $1,000 scholarship awarded to Mikayla Soelter of Fairmont High School
- $1,000 scholarship awarded to Shaylee Hanning of North Union High School
“We’re grateful for the ability to offer scholarships to local students who have an interest in pursuing health care careers,” says Amy Long, Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont site administrator. “Investing in students and young talent in our service area is integral to the success of our communities and the future health care workforce.”
