ST. PETER, Minn. — Ashley Jaspers, nurse practitioner, is the newest member of the family medicine team at Mayo Clinic Health System in St. Peter. As a family medicine provider, Jaspers helps care for people of all ages with preventive treatment and illness evaluation. She starts seeing patients June 28.
“Growing up in rural South Dakota provided me with an appreciation for smaller communities,” says Jaspers. “Now as a provider, having the opportunity to practice in St. Peter is an ideal fit for me. I’m proud to provide great care to my patients on behalf of Mayo Clinic, an organization known for exceptional patient care.”
Jaspers earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. She later received her Master of Science in nursing family nurse practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic Health System, Jaspers worked as a registered nurse in cardiology and cardiac specialty units for Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
“I consider it a privilege to partner with people throughout their lives,” says Jaspers. “By building relationships with my patients, I’m able to work together with them. My goal is to help people of all ages stay healthy and maintain a high quality of life.”
