FARIBAULT, Minn. — Nadar Ali, M.D., and Brian Wariboko, M.B.B.S., have joined the Family Medicine Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Faribault.
Dr. Ali earned her medical degree at the Windsor University School of Medicine in Saint Kitts, West Indies. She completed her family medicine residency program at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital. Dr. Ali is a board-certified physician, and has special interest in international medicine, preventive medicine, pediatrics, women’s health and dermatology.
“We are very excited to have the addition of Dr. Nadar Ali to our Faribault practice,” says Brian Bunkers, M.D., President and CEO, Mayo Clinic Health System in Faribault and Owatonna. “She shares the same cultural background of our growing Somali patient population in this community. We feel that this will enhance the care that we can give the community.”
Dr. Wariboko earned his medical degree at the University of Port Harcourt College of Health Sciences in Choba, Nigeria, and completed the Riverside Family Medicine Residency Program in Newport News, Virgina. Dr. Wariboko is a board-certified physician, and has special interest in addiction and behavioral health, preventive medicine and obesity.
“Dr. Wariboko is extremely engaging and excited to join the practice in Faribault,” says Dr. Bunkers. “He is well trained and ready to meet the needs of our patients.”
