ALBERT LEA, Minn. — A free program, “The A-Z Basics of Eating with Diabetes,” is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Foundation Board Room, lower level (next to the cafeteria), 404 W. Fountain St., Albert Lea. This program will benefit those new to diabetes and have minimal diabetes education. You will learn how to count carbs to self-manage diabetes and how to create balanced healthy meals to live a healthy life with diabetes.
Caitlyn Terpstra, registered dietitian, at Mayo Clinic Health System will share the basics to allow you to eat with your diabetes.
