    Sports Medicine

Our Sports Medicine team is comprised of surgeons, family medicine physicians, athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Coaches and athletes depend on the knowledge of team members to help keep athletes in top condition. Our sports medicine specialists tailor treatment programs to athletes’ individual needs. Injuries are assessed and treated, and resources are offered regarding prevention techniques, nutrition counseling and conditioning information.

    • High School Outreach — Through our Sports Medicine program, our licensed athletic trainers (L.A.T.) provide athletic outreach services to area high school and college athletes. Learn more.
    • Lump Bump Clinic — We offer a free Lump Bump Clinic for high school athletes to receive injury evaluations from a physical therapist or athletic trainer. • WIAA physicals — Comprehensive Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletics Association (WIAA) sports physicals are available at clinics in Barron, Chetek and Rice Lake year-round for area student athletes. Discounted sports physicals are offered each year. To schedule an appointment, call 715-537-6747 or 1-877-709-0797 (toll-free).
