Difficulty focusing the eyes during head movements
Unsteadiness or imbalance
Vertigo (spinning sensation)
During your appointment in Rice Lake, you will be evaluated for vestibular impairments. Diagnoses that can be treated by vestibular rehabilitation include:
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
Unilateral vestibular hypo-function or loss (primarily as a result of labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis or acoustic neuroma)
Bilateral vestibular hypofunction or loss
Central vestibular pathologies (primarily as a result of stroke or head injury)
We also offer treatment for poor balance and unsteadiness not directly related to vestibular impairments.
