The Gratitude Attitude (March 20 – Noon – 25 min.)
Our brains are hardwired to focus on the negative, but incorporate gratitude into your daily life and you’ll get positive results. We’ll help you “flip the switch” and make gratitude a habit. 

Square Foot Gardening (April 3 – Noon – 25 min.)
Have you ever wished you could have a garden, but felt it was too difficult? You don’t need to be a Master Gardener, have a huge yard or invest countless hours in order to grow a your own vibrant, healthy produce! Learn the basics of Square Foot Gardening, a technique that allows you to grow an amazing variety of vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs with less space and less hassle!

Achieving Work-Life Balance (April 17 – Noon – 25 min.)
What does "Having it ALL" mean to you?  Achieving a balance between work and other aspects of your life is unique for everyone.  We do not all have to do it the same.  Whichever way you choose to share your energy between work and home is entirely up to you and hopefully enriches your life.  This presentation will explore how you might make those decisions in a meaningful way to promote personal wellness and professional productivity.

Meatless Meals (May 1 – Noon – 25 min.)
Think meatless meals are only for vegetarians? Think again! Come learn about the benefits of going meatless and how you can incorporate these tasty, budget-friendly meals into your weekly routine.

Dealing with Bad Behavior in the Workplace (May 15 – Noon – 25 min.)
Bad behavior and bullying takes many forms and when it happens on the job, has a troubling effect on the workplace.  Learn some strategies to respond constructively to bad behavior and contribute to a more positive work environment.

Advance Care Planning (May 15 – 5 p.m. – 60 min.)
Advance care planning doesn’t have to be confusing or unpleasant. Think of it as a gift that you give to yourself and your loved ones so you can understand your end-of-life health care options and share them with others. Learn what an advance directive is, why it is so important, and step-by-step guidelines to help you complete these important documents. Come and learn more about Advance Care Planning and putting your wishes into a legal document. It is a free service offered by Mayo Clinic Health System -Franciscan Healthcare. 

Positivity in the Workplace (June 19 – Noon – 25 min.)
Positivity Works! There are considerable benefits to having a positive attitude and sharing that with others. Being positive works for you and helps you do the work. The presentation highlights specific strategies that have shown to improve work and life satisfaction as well as improve quality of our work.

Savor Each Bite: Tips for Eating Mindfully (July 17 – Noon – 25 min.)
In the fast-paced world we live in today, it’s easy to become distracted during mealtimes. Join this class as we discuss mindful eating- a strategy to help you enjoy food more while listening to what your body is telling you about hunger and satisfaction. Whether weight loss or maintenance is your goal, mindful eating is for everyone!

Mindful Living (August 21 – Noon – 25 min.)
Learn how to be more present in our fast paced world.  Better understand the human mind and the need to retrain our brains to be more focused and think more positively.

Change: Old Ways Won't Open New Doors (September 18 – Noon – 25 min.)
Progress is impossible without change. - Walt Disney    We often forget how much we benefit and grow when life changes; whether it is change that we choose or change that we did not expect.  This presentation will discuss strategies to cope with change effectively by managing our perspective on the situation as well as our response to those events.  Let's focus on opening new doors and taking advantage of opportunities for growth and progress.

The Scoop on Supplements (25 min.)
The majority of adults in the United States take one or more dietary supplements either every day or occasionally. Are they necessary, and if so, which ones are best? We'll discuss the potential benefits and risks dietary supplements may pose.

Hacking into Flow: Your Own Peak Performance Experience (25 min.)
Understanding and hacking your state of ultimate performance in the arts, sports, or daily work.

Health Savvy: When and How to Manage Injury and Illness at Home (60 min.)
You'll learn how to treat common illnesses and minor injuries at home and when to seek necessary medical attention. Engage in hands-on scenarios featuring common everyday health problems. You'll use and receive a complimentary copy of the Mayo Clinic Guide to Self-Care ($24.95 value). Other Mayo Clinic medical self-care tools and resources will be shared.  

Activity Minutes Matter (25 min.)
All physical activity is good for us, even if it’s just a few minutes!  Yes, you benefit from your daily walk, but are you aware of the dangers of having too many inactive hours in your day?  Whether you are an “exerciser” or not, learn the benefits of moving more throughout your day, all day!

Why Diets Don’t Work (25 min.)
Are you tired of yo-yo dieting and trying every new fad diet or cleanse with disappointing results?,You’re not alone! We'll bust some diet myths and wade through conflicting recommendations to find an approach that works for you.

Minimalism: The How of Happiness (25 min.)
Take a few minutes to consider simplifying your life through practicing Minimalism, a process of de-stressing and refocusing your energy and moving into a satisfying lifestyle.

What's the Deal with Detox Diets? (25 min.)
Everyone these days is talking about "detox" or considering a "cleanse." We'll discuss the safety and effectiveness of these popular diets.

Your Bucket List (25 min.)
Get inspired to live your dreams by making your personal bucket list (things you want to do before you “kick the bucket”). In an interactive presentation we'll address how you can make your dreams a reality by following a step-by-step dream action plan.  

Fuel Your Performance (25 min.)
What to eat and drink before and after exercise to help your body perform and recover. Healthy pre- and post-workout snack ideas for athletes of all types.

Wealth Savvy: Getting the Most from Your Health Care Dollars (60 min.)
We'll help you understand the role you play in lowering health care costs and know how to:
