Dealing with Bad Behavior in the Workplace (May 15 – Noon – 25 min.)
Bad behavior and bullying takes many forms and when it happens on the job, has a troubling effect on the workplace. Learn some strategies to respond constructively to bad behavior and contribute to a more positive work environment.
Advance Care Planning (May 15 – 5 p.m. – 60 min.)
Advance care planning doesn’t have to be confusing or unpleasant. Think of it as a gift that you give to yourself and your loved ones so you can understand your end-of-life health care options and share them with others. Learn what an advance directive is, why it is so important, and step-by-step guidelines to help you complete these important documents. Come and learn more about Advance Care Planning and putting your wishes into a legal document. It is a free service offered by Mayo Clinic Health System -Franciscan Healthcare.
Positivity in the Workplace (June 19 – Noon – 25 min.)
Positivity Works! There are considerable benefits to having a positive attitude and sharing that with others. Being positive works for you and helps you do the work. The presentation highlights specific strategies that have shown to improve work and life satisfaction as well as improve quality of our work.
Savor Each Bite: Tips for Eating Mindfully (July 17 – Noon – 25 min.)
In the fast-paced world we live in today, it’s easy to become distracted during mealtimes. Join this class as we discuss mindful eating- a strategy to help you enjoy food more while listening to what your body is telling you about hunger and satisfaction. Whether weight loss or maintenance is your goal, mindful eating is for everyone!

Learn how to be more present in our fast paced world. Better understand the human mind and the need to retrain our brains to be more focused and think more positively.

Progress is impossible without change. - Walt Disney We often forget how much we benefit and grow when life changes; whether it is change that we choose or change that we did not expect. This presentation will discuss strategies to cope with change effectively by managing our perspective on the situation as well as our response to those events. Let's focus on opening new doors and taking advantage of opportunities for growth and progress.
