    Urology Services

We handle a wide spectrum of urology-related problems for men, women and children. Here’s a list of conditions with which a urologist can help.

    General Urology

    • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) – Prostate gland enlargement is a common condition as men get older.
    • Kidney stones – Hard deposits made of minerals and salts that form inside your kidneys.
    • Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome – Inflammation of the bladder wall.
    • Urinary tract infection – An infection in any part of your urinary system — your kidneys ureters, bladder and urethra.

Urinary Incontinence – Loss of bladder control.

    Impotence

    • Erectile dysfunction – The inability to get and maintain an erection firm enough for sex.
    • Peyronie’s disease – Development of fibrous scar tissue inside the penis that causes curved, painful erections.

    Infertility

    • Male infertility – Inability to conceive a child when having frequent, unprotected sexual intercourse for a year or longer.
    • Varicocele – Enlargement of the veins within the loose bag of skin that holds your testicles (scrotum).

    Cancer

    • Bladder cancer – Cancer that begins in the bladder — a balloon-shaped organ in your pelvic area that stores urine.
    • Kidney cancer – Cancer that originates in the kidneys — two bean-shaped organs about the size of your fist.
    • Prostate cancer – Cancer that occurs in a man's prostate — a small, walnut-shaped gland that produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm.
    • Testicular cancer – Cancer that occurs in the testicles (testes), which are located inside the scrotum, a loose bag of skin underneath the penis.

    Neurourology

    • Neurogenic bladder – A spinal cord injury may interrupt communication between the nerves in the spinal cord that control bladder function and the brain, causing bladder function problems.
