Questions regarding covered services, deductibles, co-pays and explanation of benefits reports should be directed to your insurance carrier. The bill for services you receive from Mayo Clinic Health System will be after your insurance coverage (if applicable) applies.
Charges not covered by your insurance are payable in full within 30 days of receiving the bill. We accept payment by cash, check, credit and debit card. Payment arrangements and financial assistance also are available.
eStatements and online bill pay
Mayo Clinic Health System offers two means to pay your bill online. We recommend you enroll in our eStatement program so all your transactions and statements are handled electronically. We also offer you the option to pay your bill from your bank account or credit card without registering.

If you need assistance understanding your bill or have questions regarding your ability to pay a bill, contact Patient Financial Planning as soon as possible. Provider-based billing applies to patients with Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Tricare insurance plans for services received. This type of billing is used for services provided in a clinic or department which is considered to be part of the hospital.
