“Awards like these and the 2018–19 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital rankings reflect the power of our integrated model of care,” says Jonathan Leighton, M.D., medical director for Patient Experience. “Special congratulations to all. These are significant accomplishments.”
“An exceptional human experience isn’t just something we do, it’s central to who we are at Mayo,” says Tom Howell, M.D., assistant medical director for Patient Experience. “Within moments of walking through any of our doors, our patients say they can sense the positive differences that make Mayo unique … and that feeling often gives them fresh hope.”
“This award is based entirely on our patients’ experiences while receiving care in our organization, which makes it all the more special,” says Richard Helmers, M.D., regional vice president, Mayo Clinic Health System, northwest Wisconsin. “Our staff is committed to providing the highest quality care to all patients all the time, and this award shows it truly makes a difference.”
