Protecting your bone health is easier than you think. Bones play many roles in the body — providing structure, protecting organs, anchoring muscles and storing calcium. Our Bone Health team consists of physician assistants and nurse practitioners, who work collaboratively with our orthopedic surgeons and endocrinologists, to help educate, assess and prevent fractures in a clinic-setting.
If you’re in need of a diagnosis for a bone disorder and you’re not sure where to start, scheduling an appointment with a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the Bone Health Clinic is a great place to start. We’ll work with you to determine what care plan is right for you.
Our team offers:
Assessments to determine your bone mineral density.
Education to help you better understand how diet, physical activity and other lifestyle factors can affect your bone mass.
Preventative services to help you from a secondary fragility fracture.
