Lymphedema, which is excess fluid or swelling in a body part, may lead to serious complications, especially for postoperative mastectomy patients. Those with lymphedema, loved ones and caregivers are invited to attend a session led by physical therapists who are nationally certified in lymphedema.

• Jan. 21. “Looking at the newest research for lymphedema: medication, surgery and alternative treatments.”
• April 21. “Identifying lymphedema and monitoring changes in symptoms through diagnostic testing, limb volume measurements and monitoring skin and tissue changes.”
