Mayo Clinic Health System
1221 Whipple St.
Lower back pain is one of the most common reasons patients seek care. This symposium will be used to expand the knowledge of spine care. It is designed to help primary care providers, chiropractors and physical therapists better diagnose and refer patients with back pain as appropriate. It will provide these audiences with safe, effective guidelines for managing patients with lower back pain, including clinical presentation and evaluation; indications for imaging; conservative and nonopioid intervention; indications for surgical evaluation; surgical treatment options; and pre- and postoperative care for basic and complex spine conditions.
This course is designed for physicians, advanced practice providers (NP/PA), chiropractors, nurses and rehabilitation service providers.
Online registration is required.
