Professional Education & CME: Critical Care and Emergency Symposium

The Critical Care and Emergency Symposium is for registered nurses, advance practice providers, emergency and pre-hospital providers, and other health care professionals practicing in critical care and emergency medicine.
- Current trends and treatment modalities for patients receiving critical care and emergency treatment
- Current evidence used in clinical practice to improve patient outcomes
Participants can earn 6.5 ANCC nursing contact hours for attendance at the entire activity and completion of the evaluation.
In support of improving patient care, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the health care team.
This activity has been submitted for approval for continuing education hours for EMS.
