Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Adams was recently recognized in the October 2014 issue of Minnesota Monthly as one of the best hand surgeons in the state. Dr. Adams has served in leadership positions in hand and orthopedic surgery both regionally as well as nationally, including as President of the Minnesota Orthopedic Society, in the leadership boards of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), the American Association of Hand Surgeons (AAHS), and the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society (RJOS).
Surgical treatment of disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow, including: fractures and dislocations of the hand, wrist, elbow; tendon and nerve injuries; compressive and traumatic nerve conditions; microvascular surgery; arthritis of the hand, wrist and elbow; reconstructive surgery of the hand, wrist, elbow, including arthroscopy and arthroplasty; and treatment of developmental and congenital hand differences.
