Dr. Irons is interested in medical ethics, mindful practices, influences upon medical decision making and social justice.
He specializes in the care of mood and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 21. While his practice addresses diagnostic evaluations and medications, Dr. Irons treats the patient with a care plan beyond prescription medications including therapy, psychosocial interventions and the development of comprehensive treatment programs. Dr. Irons has more than 22 years of experience in community mental health care.
Dr. Irons believes in the value of comprehensive evaluation and treatment formulation and joins Mayo Clinic Health System with the professional goals to:
