LA CROSSE, Wis. — Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse is recognized among the Best Hospitals in Wisconsin in the 25th U.S. News & World Report annual America’s Best Hospitals list released today.
Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare is ranked No. 14 in the state of Wisconsin out of 152 hospitals statewide. U.S News & World Report also identified Franciscan Healthcare as one of the best in the Southwest Wisconsin region.
The magazine recognized Franciscan Healthcare’s Urology department nationally as a “high performing” adult specialty department. A high-performing hospital had to have a score that placed it in the top 25 percent of eligible facilities in at least one specialty,

- Diabetes and Endocrinology,
- Ear, Nose and Throat
- Gastroenterology and GI surgery
- Neurology and Neurosurgery
Mayo is ranked No. 2 in three additional specialties: Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Orthopedics and Urology.
