EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Licensed clinical social worker Amanda Neckar recently joined the Behavioral Health Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Neckar earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Previously, she worked at Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare in Arcadia, Wisconsin.
Neckar’s professional interests include substance abuse and mental health issues, such as, depression, anxiety, chronic mental illness and chronic pain.
“I enjoy helping patients to live their best life possible. I'm looking forward to working with patients, and I'm excited to be joining the Mayo Clinic Health System team in Eau Claire. In her free time, Neckar enjoys enjoy running, snowshoeing and spending time with family.
