ALBERT LEA, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Health System ophthalmologist Leonid Skorin Jr., D.O., recently attended the American Osteopathic Association’s Advocacy for Healthy Partnership conference Jan.18-19 in Tampa, FL.
Skorin represented the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society at this national conference. He is this association’s past president. The keynote speaker was retired astronaut and U.S. Navy Captain Mark Kelly who flew four space missions to the International Space Station. Dr. Skorin had the opportunity to discuss with Captain Kelly how space travel can affect eye health and visual function.
