RICE LAKE, Wis. — Shannon Brown, M.D., recently joined Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System – Northland in Rice Lake. She also will provide delivery obstetrical care at Mayo Clinic Health System – Northland in Barron.
Dr. Brown earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, and completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. She completed her residency at Mercy Health System in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Dr. Brown is a member of the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Her professional interests include women’s health and pediatrics.
“Having grown up in Rice Lake and graduated from Rice Lake High School, I am excited to return home to care for patients in my hometown,” Dr. Brown says.
Recently married, Dr. Brown enjoys participating in community theatre, playing music and reading in her spare time.
