FAIRMONT, Minn. —Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont recently announced recipients of its 2018 Blanche Kindstrom Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships, given each year to local students who are pursuing a health profession field of study.
This year’s scholarship recipients include:
- $1,000 scholarship awarded to Ben Hernes of Fairmont High School
- $1,000 scholarship awarded to Emily Paplow of Jackson County Central High School
“We’re excited for the opportunity to award scholarships to area students who have demonstrated an interest in pursuing careers in health care,” says Amy Long, Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont site administrator. “The continued success of our region’s future health care workforce is directly tied to our students and young talent. It’s an investment we’re proud to support on behalf of our communities.”
