FARIBAULT, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Health System in Faribault is pleased to announce the addition of Cooper Rendon, Certified Physician Assistant. Rendon completed his Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies at Western Michigan University.
Rendon is a board-certified physician assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
“We are very pleased to add Cooper Rendon, an experienced physician assistant, who will start our occupational medicine program for Faribault and the surrounding communities,” says Brian Bunkers, M.D., chief executive officer at Mayo Clinic Health System in Owatonna. “We have heard from our regional employers about the need for this type of service. Our Faribault office will actually be part of the broader Mayo Clinic Health System Occupational Medicine Department serving our entire region.”
Occupational medicine providers partner with local businesses to bring immunizations and health screenings into the workplace. Services include Department of Transportation physicals, respirator fit testing, asbestos exposure exams, work injury treatment and more.
Rendon joined the practice on Monday, Dec. 8. He will begin seeing occupational health patients in early January at the Crossroads Professional Building in Faribault, located at the corner of Highway 3 and Lyndale Avenue.
