EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Certified nurse-midwife Margaret Landry has joined Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Landry received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her master’s degree in nursing-midwifery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Before joining Mayo Clinic Health System, Landry worked at Gundersen Health System and Keil Clinic, both in La Crosse.
Landry’s special interests include lifestyle medicine, women’s health, stress management, physical activity and nutrition.
“The way we live our lives, our biography, does affect our biology,” Landry says. “My interest is helping women optimize their health in how they live their lives as they go through the various transitions of life — managing their stress, their activity and their nutrition.
“I have found Mayo Clinic Health System’s midwifery standard of care to be the closest to my own philosophy of health, self-care, evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.”
Landry enjoys time with her children and grandchildren, as well as outdoor activities, such as gardening, biking, walking and running. She also creates her own skin care products.
