Philadelphia jewelry designer John Wind once again will visit the gift shop at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wind will host a trunk show of his jewelry pieces, and also will offer the chance to create one-of-a-kind custom pieces for customers during the show. Hosted by the hospital Auxiliary, this show will benefit the health system and patients, and also will provide scholarships to health care students.
In 2012, Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross generated more than $276 million in revenue for the local and state economy according to a recent report by the Georgia Hospital Association, the state’s largest hospital trade association. Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, GA has been named to the Georgia Hospital Association’s (GHA) Partnership for Health and Accountability (PHA) Core Measures Honor Roll. The health system is one of 18 hospitals in Georgia to be placed in the Presidential category. The honor roll is based on clinical data provided by the federal Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS), which administers the nation’s Medicare and Medicaid programs. The data was collected from October 2011 to September 2012.
