Don’t be afraid to ask questions of your provider. You may find it helpful to write your questions down beforehand. Some questions to consider are:
What are your symptoms?
When did they start?
Have they become more severe, less severe or stayed constant over time?
Do these symptoms occur at a certain time of day, or during a certain activity?
What medications are you taking, including over-the-counter and herbal remedies?
How long have you been taking those medications?
