Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is a holistic practice that supports health and healing. It uses breathing exercises and gentle movement. It aids in healing, provides relaxation, increases range of motion and enhances well-being. Yoga therapy is used for individuals of all ages and abilities.

On-going classes:

  • Breathe and Relax Midday Break

Take a relaxing but energizing break at mid-day. Learn how to make stretching more effective by linking your body and breath.

  • Therapeutic Chair Yoga

Therapeutic chair yoga can provide many benefits for chronic health conditions such as cancer, osteoarthritis, diabetes, anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, hypertension, MS, COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, GERD, and chronic back pain. Learn gentle yoga postures, relaxation techniques and breathing practices to help with the management of your condition.

  • Refresh & Renew: Body, Breath and Mind

You don’t need to be young, thin, flexible or wear trendy yoga clothes to feel comfortable in this class.  Learn yoga postures, breathing practices, guided meditations and relaxation techniques that are healing for your mind and body.

  • Viniyoga for Health and Healing

Classes are small and individuals will learn how to adapt the practices to make them comfortable and effective for their health condition. The Viniyoga approach is therapeutic and breath-focused and is appropriate for people of all ages and abilities, including beginners.

Pre-registration for on-going sessions is not necessary, just come to the class of your choice and purchase a punch card.
