Hearing Aid Process
1. Diagnostic hearing exam
A full diagnostic hearing test is completed to determine your type and degree of hearing loss and hearing aid candidacy.
2. Hearing aid consultation
During the hearing aid consultation, an audiologist will discuss the different hearing aid options with you. The size, cost and performance of the hearing aid can differ for each individual patient. Your type and degree of hearing loss along with lifestyle will help to determine which hearing aid is most appropriate.
3. 45-day trial period
All hearing aids have a 45-day trial period following the fitting. During this time you will have follow up appointment for any fine tuning and adjusting of the hearing aids to obtain the best possible fit. Should you choose not to keep the hearing aids they may be returned for credit during the 45-day trial.
Technology is continually making incredible changes in the way we can help people with hearing loss and in how hearing aids work.
