When your call is answered in the department, your condition and concerns will be assessed and your call will be routed appropriately. You may be referred to the Nurse Line or you may be referred into the department if your situation warrants. With the availability of same-day appointments it may be possible that you can see a doctor or other professional yet that day if necessary.
After normal clinic hours, you may access the Nurse Line by calling the Franciscan Healthcare main number (608-785-0940) and ask for the Nurse Line.

The Nurse Line joins Patient Online Services (Mayo Clinic Health System's secure online web portal) as another way to make care more accessible and convenient for you. Patient Online Services allows users the ability to access their own health information online 24/7, including laboratory and test results, notes from your doctor following appointments, your current prescriptions, and a list of past and upcoming appointments. The service also allows you to send and receive electronic messages from your health care team in a secure manner.
