Accessibility to Services

Mayo Clinic Health System – Oakridge in Mondovi offers many accessibility services for patients needing assistance. These on-campus services are easily accessible and free of charge. 

Patient care staff can help you arrange accessibility services. Family and friends are also welcome to assist you with special needs during your visit to Mayo Clinic Health System - Oakridge.

Wheelchairs are available free of charge for use on campus and are located at the main entrance. If you prefer a larger-sized wheelchair, please ask a staff member.

Wheelchairs and Walkers for Off-Campus Rental

Social Services staff can assist you with obtaining wheelchairs and walkers needed for off-campus use from Mayo Clinic Health System Medical Store or other local providers.

Staff members are available to transport you to and from appointments, provide directions and answer questions during your visit. This free assistance is offered to patients with visual impairments, those who use wheelchairs and others who have difficulty walking.

Handicapped Parking
If you have a handicapped parking tag displayed on your vehicle, you may park in any designated parking stall. Van-accessible and state handicap parking spaces are located near the main clinic entrance.

Service for Hearing Impaired
Qualified sign language interpreters are available at no charge to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. Please tell registration staff or scheduler that you will need an interpreter.  

Interpreter Services
If you feel more comfortable speaking a language other than English, we offer interpreters for many languages. Interpreters are available in person for some languages and through telephone services for all others. When scheduling your visit, tell registration staff or scheduler that you will need an interpreter. There is no charge for interpreters.

All buildings have wheelchair-accessible restrooms marked with signs noting accessibility. If you have difficulty locating a wheelchair-accessible restroom, ask a staff member for assistance.
