How can I get started?
All couples will first attend an Introductory Session. It is an hour-long presentation that is designed to give couples enough information to decide if CrMS is right for them. Then, if interested in learning and using CrMS, couples will have the opportunity to receive their materials and schedule a follow-up session.
Follow-up sessions are held individually with couples. This is where the actual learning of the system takes place and where CrMS is tailored to the individual needs and goals of the couple. Charting with CrMS is the essential first step in accessing NaProTechnology services. Once charting has begun and the cycle has been reviewed by the practitioner, a referral can be made to Dr, Jennifer Althoff in the Center for Women's Health.
FertilityCare Medical Consultants:
Jennifer P. Althoff, M.D., completed the Natural Family Planning Medical Consultant program through Creighton University and Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in 2007 after earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She completed a Family Medicine Residency in Greenwood, SC in 2008. She then went on to earn her certification as a FertilityCare Medical Consultant through the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals in 2010. She is happy to offer NaProTechnology medical services to women to help diagnose and treat gynecologic health abnormalities while sustaining procreative potential.
Jessica L. Sosso, M.D., M.P.H., completed the Natural Family Planning Medical Consultant program through Creighton University and Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in 2014. Dr. Sosso is a 2004 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She finished a combined residency in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in 2008 and is currently working at Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare in Sparta, Wis. She is thrilled to add NaProTechnology medical services to her family medicine practice.
Diane Olson, FCP (FertilityCare Practitioner), completed the practitioner program through the Pope Paul VI Institute for Reproductive Health in 2004 after receiving her Bachelor’s degree from UW-River Falls. Diane worked at the Twin Cities FertilityCare Center until relocating back to the LaCrosse area. She is very happy to be able to offer these services to couples in the Coulee Region.
