The Urology department performs the following procedures, some occur in the clinic office and some in the operating room:

  • Bladder Biopsy
  • Bladder tumor: Bladder Biopsy, Cystectomy, and Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor (TURBT)
  • Circumcision
  • Cystometrogram (CMG) or Urodynamics
  • Cystoscopy
  • Enlarged prostate surgeries: Transurethral Resection of Prostate (TURP) and Laser Prostatectomy
  • Hydrocele surgery
  • Incontinence: Collagen Injection, Pubovaginal Sling, and Transobturator Sling
  • Kidney cancer: Nephrectomy
  • Kidney stone surgeries: Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL), Laser Lithotripsy, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, and Ureteral stenting
  • Prostate Biopsy
  • Prostate cancer: Gold Seed (radiation markers),
  • Radical Retropubic Prostatectomy, and Placement of Radioactive seeds (Brachytherapy)
  • Spermatocele surgery
  • Suprapubic Catheter Placement
  • Testicular cancer: Orchiectomy
  • Testicular torsion/pain: Orchiopexy
  • Undescended Testicle
  • Urethral Dilation
  • Varicocele surgery
  • Vasectomy
  • Vasectomy Reversal

All of our Urologists are certified by the American Board of Urology. That means the urologist has met a standard in Urology by fulfilling specific requirements related to education, evaluation of credentials, and successful completion of written and oral examinations.
