The purpose of this Geriatric Symposium is to expand the participants’ knowledge base on current healthcare topics affecting the elderly patients, specifically:

  • Legal Decision-Making,
  • Lower Back Pain
  • Dementia and Suicide
  • Geriatric Depression
  • Eye Problems
  • Blue Zones

Audience: Physicians, nurses, counselors, social workers, administrators, dietitians, physical therapists, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals.

This activity has been submitted to the Wisconsin Nursing Association CEAP for approval to award contact hours. WNA is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
