The Anticoagulation Clinic is designed to improve your management of long- or short-term anticoagulation use with regular counseling and testing by our pharmacists and registered nurses. It is a safe, effective and convenient way to manage your warfarin (Coumadin) therapy.

When you come to Anticoagulation Service for a routine visit, you will complete three steps:
Information obtained during your visit, including your test results and any dose changes, is sent to your physician that same day. This way, your physician will remain up-to-date about the progress of your warfarin (Coumadin) therapy.
