General Guidelines

Training for volunteers includes a general orientation and tour of the medical center. On-the-job training includes a review of volunteer policies, confidentiality, and wheelchair training (for escorts and Lutz Wing volunteers). The volunteer coordinator will conduct orientation classes. An experienced volunteer will conduct shadow training.

Time Commitment

Regular shifts are two-five hours once a week, every other week, or once a month. Shifts can be arranged to accommodate your schedule.
