Weight Wise Program

Vegetable Bounty web_RGBThere is no medical monitoring required for the Weight Wise program. The diet consists of a structured meal plan including fruits, vegetables, lean protein, fat-free milk products and whole grains to minimize food decisions and to promote weight loss.

To achieve the most success on the program it is important to:

  • Attend class weekly
  • Keep food records
  • Follow the meal plan and consume all foods outlined on your meal plan

To achieve weight loss greater than 30 to 40 pounds, one of our other HMR programs may be better suited.

The Weight Wise program is ideal for people wanting to lose 10 to 40 pounds. A sample menu for a day may be: 

Breakfast

HMR shake blended with 1 cup frozen strawberries or a yogurt shake substitute
12 ounces of coffee

Mid-morning Snack

1 banana
2 8-ounce glasses of water

Lunch

Salad
3 cups lettuce
1/2 cup tomato
1/2 cup cucumber
3 ounces of grilled chicken, diced
2 tablespoons fat-free dressing
1 ounce of whole wheat bread
1/2 tablespoon low-fat margarine
2 8-ounce glasses of water

Snack

1 cup baby carrots
16 ounces of unsweetened ice tea with lemon wedge

Dinner

3 ounces of grilled salmon
1 baked potato topped with 2 tablespoons salsa
1 cup steamed broccoli
20 ounces of diet soda

Snack

Fruit, vegetables or an HMR chocolate shake
