Enjoy an evening of inspiration and hope. This event is the story of how two strangers connected in a time of crisis.

In March 2005, Kevin Berthia wanted to take his life. Feeling as though all was wrong and life had beaten him down, Kevin climbed over the railing of the Golden Gate Bridge and prepared to make the fatal jump. When he heard a voice calling out to him from above, he made the decision to look up. It was the voice of Officer Kevin Briggs (a.k.a. “the guardian of the Golden Gate”). The two talked for 60 life-altering minutes before Berthia decided to climb back up and give life another chance.

Listen to this story presented by Berthia and Briggs, and learn how you can make a positive difference in the lives of others and help prevent the tragedy of suicide.

A book signing and light refreshments will follow.
