Dedicated to developing future health care leaders
The Fellowship Program in Health Care Administration at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire is designed to foster the development of master’s-prepared individuals committed to a career in health care administration. Under the guidance of the chief administrative officer, this one-year management training experience is tailored to meet the needs and interests of the individual candidate. This program allows the fellow to experience the major aspects of managing an integrated health care organization.
The Fellowship Program offers exposure to all levels of management, allowing fellows to gain an applied understanding of the operations of an integrated health care system. Fellows are provided with opportunities to attend various executive-level meetings and are encouraged to participate in committees and other team projects. Examples of previous fellowship experiences include a physician need analysis, a community benefit assessment and a supply chain management project.
