Phase III is designed to help you continue to maintain a healthier lifestyle through supervised exercise sessions and health education. Phase III is an extension of Phase II with the emphasis to further achieve your goals through self-structured exercise sessions.
The Exercise Component
Exercise programs are individually tailored and may include the following equipment:
- Arm Ergometer
- Hand Weights
Participates will attend sessions three times weekly for one hour. Phase III is divided into one month segment with the maximum of three months participation.
Phase III is a self-pay program.
Phase III is available to recent Phase II graduates who have not met their prescribed exercise functional capacity or by physician referral for patient who meet risk stratification.
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Rubber soled shoes with arch support are recommended
- Do not eat a heavy meal prior to exercise session
- Medication should be taken on your normal schedule
