Internships

Internships relate to clinical or non-clinical experiences required for academic credit. They may be referred to as preceptorships or practicum.

  • Nursing Clinical Experiences – Undergraduate

Albert Lea has affiliation agreements with area schools offering an undergraduate nursing program. Clinical experiences are coordinated directly with nursing program representatives. Albert Lea follows a prioritization placement policy. 

  • Nursing Clinical Experiences – Postgraduate

  • Non-nursing Clinical Experiences – Undergraduate

Albert Lea has affiliation agreements with schools offering undergraduate program such as Surgical Technician, Emergency Medical Technicians, Laboratory, Radiology, Paramedic, Athletic Trainer, Human Services, Social Work and Physical and Occupational Therapies. School program representatives coordinate clinical experiences with department supervisors and Staff Development Department. 

  • Non-nursing Clinical Experiences – Postgraduate

Albert Lea has a prioritization placement policy.
