Physician assistant Taylor Houts joins Rice Lake

RICE LAKE, Wis. — Physician assistant Taylor Houts recently joined Family Medicine and Urgent Care at Mayo Clinic Health System – Northland in Rice Lake.

Houts earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her masters of medical science in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Houts is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.

Houts’ professional interests include family medicine, urgent care, women’s health, patient education and patient lifestyle modification.

In her free time, Houts enjoys spending time with her dog, traveling, trying new foods with her fiancé, photography, snowboarding, and participating in and watching various athletics.
