RICE LAKE, Wis. — Licensed athletic trainer Sarah Macklem recently joined the Physical Therapy Department at Mayo Clinic Health System – Northland in Rice Lake.
Macklem received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and her physical therapist assistant degree from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado.
Previously, she worked as a licensed athletic trainer and physical therapist assistant at Fort Healthcare in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
Macklem is a certified athletic trainer with the National Athletic Trainers Association.
“I’m very excited to be joining the staff in Rice Lake,” says Macklem. “Athletic training truly is my passion, and I look forward to serving the Barron and Cameron school districts.”
In her free time, Macklem enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their dogs.
