NEW PRAGUE, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Health System has expanded access to allergy specialty services for patients throughout the New Prague area. Richard Crockett, M.D., Allergy and Immunology, will see allergy patients 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. two to three Wednesdays per month.
“As a child, I grew up with the discomfort of allergies,” says Dr. Crockett. “Now as an allergist, I’ve found that I can relate to the way my patients feel, and that drives me to help them.”
Dr. Crockett graduated from UC San Diego School of Medicine in La Jolla, California, completed his internal medicine residency at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and finished allergy and immunology training in Tampa, Florida. He has been board certified in allergy and immunology since 2003, and worked as an allergist for 12 years in Colorado before joining the Mayo Clinic team in 2015.
“I believe it’s important to make my patients feel comfortable,” says Dr. Crockett. “It’s my job to help guide them through the process of feeling better.”
“Mayo Clinic Health System is excited to offer allergy services to people of all ages in our community,” says Marty Herrmann, M.D., medical director of Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague. “Having convenient access to Dr. Crockett and expert allergy treatment close to home will bring relief to numerous individuals who suffer from allergy-related symptoms.”
