MENOMONIE, Wis. — Licensed professional counselor Anita Vlcek recently joined the Behavioral Health Department as a psychotherapist at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar in Menomonie.
Vlcek received her master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie.
Vlcek’s special interests include utilizing education to best support individual needs and empowering others to become more autonomous. She specializes in anxiety-related disorders, child development, attention deficit, autism spectrum disorders, behavior analysis, use of cognitive behavior and dialectical behavior skills.
In her spare time, Vlcek enjoys spending time with family, baking, outdoor activities, painting, reading and volunteering.
