MENOMONIE, Wis. — Sara Elliott has been named the director of Surgical and Procedural Services at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar in Menomonie.
Elliott worked on Mayo Clinic’s Rochester campus for 10 years. Throughout the decade, she worked as a nurse and nurse manager, including eight years in the surgical arena.
As new director, Elliott manages all surgical and procedural services, and employees. Elliott says she has always enjoyed working in the team environment that surgery has to offer and looks forward to collaborating with the surgical and procedural team at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar.
Having grown up in Rice Lake, Elliot says she feels right at home in Menomonie and appreciates the smooth transition from Rochester.
“My family and I are absolutely ecstatic about being back in the area,” Elliot says. “So far, I’ve seen awesome teamwork, and I’m excited to be part of such a high-functioning team.”
Ten Mayo Clinic Health System surgeons and two independent surgeons perform approximately 2,900 surgeries each year in four operating rooms and three procedure rooms at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar in Menomonie.
